EST conduct PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) of the testing work

According to the recent demand for our customers, EST laboratories to strengthen the PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) testing. PAHS testing for, EST do about that.

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)

I. Introduction

PAHs, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons name. Oil, coal and other fuels and wood, combustible gases in the incomplete combustion or high temperature conditions generated by a class of harmful substances, often present in petrochemical products, rubber, plastics, lubricants, anti-rust oil, incomplete combustion of organic compounds and other substances in the environment, one of the most important carcinogens, PAHs include 16 kinds of similar material.

In the environment, full of organic pollutants in various locations, polycyclic aromatic compounds (PAHs) for its bulk, and some have been proven to have cancer and mutagenicity of the human body. Source of PAHs include: algae or bacteria on the biosynthesis, forest fires, volcanic eruptions, as well as coal-fired power plants, incineration of garbage dump site, steam locomotives, such as with the factory exhaust. Many of the types of PAHs, of which 16 kinds of compounds in 1979 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) listed in the tube.
